2. Provision of the website

5. Contact form and email address

a) Description and scope of data processing

We offer a contact form on our website which can be used to contact us directly online. The data entered into the form will be transmitted to and stored by a. hartrodt (GmbH & Co) KG. In addition, the IP address of the user and the date and time of the transmission will be stored at the time of transmission.
Alternatively, you can use the email address provided to contact us. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted by email will be stored.
We do not disclose personal data to third parties. The data will only be used to process your query.

The legal basis for the processing of data where the user has given consent to the processing is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted when sending an email is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If the purpose of the email is to conclude a contract, then the additional basis for the processing of data is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

8. Information concerning your online application

The career portal is operated by a. hartrodt (GmbH & Co) KG together with its subsidiaries a. hartrodt Deutschland (GmbH & Co) KG and a. hartrodt (DE) Solutions GmbH (hereinafter the “Group”).

a) The purpose of data processing

The personal data you provide us with is stored and processed only in so far as necessary to fill the advertised position in our Group.

b) Collection and processing of your personal data

Once you have entered and sent us your data, those data are transferred through an encrypted connection directly to a server operated by our external service provider. All of the data are encrypted by means of the SSL protocol.

During the selection process, your application information is first examined by a personnel manager and, if the qualifications fit, is referred to the appropriate departmental manager in the company advertising the position. Access to your personal data is restricted to those persons who are necessary for the proper conduct of the selection process for the advertised position. Your application information is disclosed within the Group only with your express consent.

We use a specialised software provider for the application process. This entity works for us as a service provider and may see your personal data during care and maintenance of our IT systems. With this provider we have entered into a “processing contract” that ensures that the data processing is performed in a lawful manner.

Once the selection process is completed, your data will be stored for six months. If you are not hired within that period, your data will be reduced automatically to the following minimal information:

• Form of address
• Date of birth
• Postal code
• Town
• Country
• Nationality
• How you found us
• Input type
 

9. Information on the rights of data subjects

Every data subject has the right of access under Article 15 GDPR, the right to rectification under Article 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under Article 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR, the right to object under Article 21 GDPR, and the right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR. The restrictions under Articles 34 and 35 GDPR apply to the right of access and the right to erasure.

a) Information on the right to lodge a complaint

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by a. hartrodt (GmbH & Co) KG.
